A Leader with so many Titles!!!

Age couldn’t catch up with him, death had to sneak up and grab him from the workplace. Because this son of a boatman wouldn’t be caught resting, even after climbing the highest position a man can hold in our country.
Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam honoured every chair he held, and India honoured him with the best it could. Dr Kalam meditated, played the veena, taught children and adults, tended to plants and found enough time to write relentlessly to author some 20 books. He parted his hair in the middle, wore really simple clothes, but the child-like smile beat all the weapons he developed as a scientist. His demeanour could disarm the biggest enemies. He didn’t have many, anyway.
There are presidents and there are precedents. After the first three, the politicians adorned the chair. Kalam was an outsider, no-contest man. The tallest building on the Raisina Hill stood taller when this tall man was a resident.
When another tall leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee proposed his name as the President, there was little doubt he would win, even though his opponent was no less than Capt Lakshmi Sehgal. When he won, then Vajpayee’s Man Friday Pramod Mahajan asked him whether he would take oath at an auspicious time. Dr Kalam told him that as long as the solar system was in place, it’s auspicious all the time. He would have moved on to explain how the solar system worked, but Mahajan didn’t have time.
The passion to share knowledge was Dr Kalam's hallmark. During his presidential visits abroad, he would be talking to reporters about various international issues, but in case the plane experienced turbulence, he couldn’t help explaining them what turbulence is.
He was a scientist first, the President and everything else later. Scientists dream to fly, explore beyond horizons. His parents saw that dream in his eyes, and his barely-managing-to-make-both-ends-meet family made sure he chased the dream. The physics graduate from University of Madras missed his chance to become a fighter pilot by a whisker. But his interests led him to Defence Research and Development Organisation, where he would later be known as the Missile Man. His work with the ISRO in the PSLV project helped India become a leader in space and satellite technology. Later, he would play a key role in India’s nuclear programme. In as late as 1998, he continued developing technology. His work with cardiologist Soma Raju resulted in an inexpensive coronary stent, now known as the Kalam-Raju stent.
He was a busy man after he left the Rashtrapati Bhavan, following his passion to teach. IIM, Shillong, was one of the places he lectured at regularly. On Monday morning, he was all smiles as he arrived. In the evening, a cardiac arrest ended his journey. A journey unmatched in its width and heights. India lost one of the greatest Indians in recent times.

Stay Strong! Stay Bold

"Don't pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men." - John F Kennedy
If you are on the road to your success, then know that its going to be a road that will have potholes, its going to test your ability to stay the course, and it’s going to constantly show you the exits to get off. It’s all a part of the journey because nothing worth having comes easy.
Let your weaknesses be greeted with your unseen strengths. Let your insecurities remain in the shadow casted by standing tall in confidence. Let your fears be outweighed by your beliefs. Let the road to success know how focused you are by continuing to travel it no matter how many bumps there are.
These traits are only gained from overcoming the struggles and if you haven't struggled in your journey yet then you're not setting the bar high enough for yourself.
Whether or not you think you can achieve higher than you're reaching, you can. We are all meant for greatness, we just have to earn it.

Why do we fall?

WHY DO YOU FALL?
“Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves back up.” – Thomas Wayne

Each and everyone one of us is facing a battle today. You, me, the stranger walking past you.. everyone of us knows what it feels to be knocked down. But, it’s apart of the process and if you haven't felt the floor in a while then you're probably not pushing yourself to reach your potential.

The best way to avoid a hit is to take the hit. The greatest boxers in the world don't learn to dodge their opponents gloves, they train to withstand them.

Sitting here everyday after doing a college for about 7 hours I throw on 10 minutes of Batman as I cool down. As much as I want to watch the rest being the movie lover I am, I know that there is still work that needs to get done. I'm just not that guy who’s content with relaxing knowing that I am still so far away from what I am capable of. And I expect the same from you. Cause on this journey to know yourself you have to exploit yourself to know yourself, to know your potential, your capabilities.

If you are finding yourself becoming upset at times because you haven't reached your goals, you aren't alone. The key is to keep pushing yourself, learn to take the hits thrown, and to never give up.

Do what you love or love what you Do...!!

All the great person are the first kind of person that I said - They do what they love. And to achieve the greatness, the glory you definitely have to be either of the two. If Sachin Tendulkar played football and Messi played Cricket, we could never would have seen these legends. Know that you are born unique and you are still unique, no matter whatever the way surroundings molded you.

You are meant to be amazing. Just do whatever you do with love, with passion. And that's it. When you have love you positivity and when you have positivity you can be anything, just like a small child have daring to build a fort or to sail the universe. And as a catalyst to your journey of success, add "Belief in yourself" to the passion of yours, love of yours, or the work of yours.

"One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life. And That word is love."
Whatever you do, talk, eat, play, watch, listen, smell, see, anything anything, do what brings you love or joy. Lots of Love and Lots of Joy to feel your life with magic and sky full of stars.

Focus is the thing you should Focus ON

Focus..!! Have you ever noticed that almost all English words have their accent their, pronunciation according to the meaning of the that same word. Well this is not the thing i want to talk about, it just flashed through my mind after i uttered the word Focus.
This word has a great power in it. If you are in middle of a fight with someone and try hammering Focus word on the other fellow, it wont make him fall down. But instead if you hammer Focus to yourself you surely will get energy to hammer a punch on the other guy. And this energy, this strength comes from inside.
There is a scientist in India, Dr. Raghunath Maleshelkar, who comes from a very poor background. Once in his school days his teacher happen to show him the working of Magnifier glass to focus Sun's energy on a paper to burn it. Dr. Mashelkar was surprised by the phenomenon and curiously asked his teacher, what made it burn. His teacher said him, "Raghu if you can Focus all your senses like this you could do anything in this universe..!!". And today he the one of the most eminent scientist of India.
Focus on everything you do, you make, you learn. Whatever it is just Be Focused...!!
Live Your Life..!!

Take Time to Know Time..!!

Many Great ones have said about time. I am no great like them but I have started realizing the value of time. And I think each one of us should know whats that great value of time. One thing we should clearly understand throughout our lives is that the assets that we will posses are only few and these are worth every single penny in this cosmos. And these very assets are  You, Your Family and Your Time. Time is the greatest gift given to the mankind by the great almighty.

Do not waste your time spending it on the unnecessary things, instead use it to build yourself so that you can master yourself. Have the sight to master everything, have the sight to learn everything. There are people who know everything from physics to biology and from space science to computer science. I have seen one. We have a professor at our college who believes in learning, who believes in his student. The later I said cause its rare in colleges. He is 75 years old, half body paralyzed but he still comes to college everyday to give us some rays and some sunshine. The proper function of man is to live, not to merely exist. We should not waste our days in trying to prolong them. We should use our time. Time is a great friend. Walk along with him, play with him, sing with him, dance with him and never dare to waste it and loose a great friend, a great gift from the almighty himself.
Yesterday is gone, Tomorrow has not yet come, We have Today, Let us Begin...!!

Thinking....!!

What do you see??

This great man had no exceptional skills but basic, simple and fundamental qualities. These simple abilities of his were to think, think, think, dream, dream, dream and to work, work, work.

" Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have courage to follow your heart and intuition."

Sir Jobs himself followed the motto "Think Different".

Know that you are unique and no one can take your place.

"Thinking should become your capital asset, no matter whatever ups and downs you come across in your life."

 - Dr. APJ ABDUL KALAM

Never stop thinking, and never stop asking questions. Wander here and there, talk to people, make new friends, be in love with yourselves...!!
